Notes: Did you know you could change the UI if you wanted?
Installing may require more RAM (Typically 50% more).
You will actually want to reserve at least twice the minimum storage
On Android and newer Apple devices, you may want something else than AMD64.
CDs are of 650MiB to 870MiB. DVDs are generally 4483MiB (4,7GB)

/ No

Instecticides and insect repellants. So you know what you're buying, and avoid killing the planet.

A mosquito has been once found on a bottle of natural insect repellant.

Insects (especially, mosquitoes) may not always be repelled by the repellant.

-static is a clang flag for static linking. Use ldd on the terminal to check the used shared library of a binary and seek on Internet for that.
When compiling, include at least one statically linked binary per release! Dynamically linked binaries are plagued with GLIBC incompatibilities!
